Hamida Ag Fano

The Rhythm of Wandering Souls

Tuareg blues from the Sahara

Hamida Ag Fano is a Tuareg singer and guitarist born in the Sahara near Kidal, Mali.

Raised in a nomadic family in the vast Ténéré desert, he learned music alone while herding livestock, guided by distant radio waves and the ancient rhythms of his people.

His songs speak of movement, memory, exile and destiny, telling the stories of wandering souls shaped by the Sahara.
